Dear Loyal Customers,
Interest and excitement in the Make and Take Gourmet concept has never been greater! In fact, I just got a call from Forbes
magazine… they’re interested in doing a story about our business!
At Make and Take Gourmet, we are committed to listening to our customers and your wants and your needs. Our surveys have shown us that
many of you have shifted your preference from “make” (making meals in-store) to “take” (taking fresh
meals to-go, and baking them at home). This trend seems to be emerging as more and more people have less and less time every day.
Our stores must have the ability to adapt to this “retail“ model.
We anticipated that as this new industry evolved, stores would need to adapt to emerging trends. We expected that this would include
some store closures, and unfortunately our Camillus and Baldwinsville stores have closed. However, our Cicero, Fayetteville and
Auburn stores will continue to operate 7 days a week as we continue to evolve our business model into a total convenience solution.
Our core mission and business strategy remains the same – to give customers high-quality, convenient meal options. In fact,
demand is increasing, as families like you seek ways to find nutritious meals at a reasonable cost that can adapt to their busy
lives and give them more time to improve their quality of life.
To continue meeting your needs, we are enhancing our business model to emphasize the “take” aspect. We’re
currently coming up with more ideas that offer even more convenient, fresh, homemade meal options that you can “grab-and-go”.
