KIDS IN THE KITCHEN
Looking for something different to do with you kids this summer? Make and Take Gourmet has the answer.
Growing gourmets will have the opportunity to cook and have fun in the kitchen. They will be introduced to cooking vocabulary and techniques, tools and utensils, basics of etiquette, nutrition, safety, kitchen math and new foods!
Classes are on Wednesdays thru the Summer starting on 7/9. Class times are at 10 am, 12 pm and 2 pm. Call the store for a registration form and more information.

Barbeque Baked Beans- Baked beans are mixed with barbeque sauce, chopped onion,
Broccoli Salad- This zesty salad is healthy, flavorful and delicious! Fresh broccoli is dressed with mayo, sugar and vinegar and tossed with bacon, onion, raisins and cheese.
Cole Slaw- Our homemade coleslaw is light, sweet, and creamy, but with a satisfying crunch. We think it’s the best in the country. This salad is a perfect addition to a summer barbecue.

Four Bean Salad- We combine red and white kidney beans with black beans and green beans. These are tossed in a homemade dressing of vinegar, olive oil, and sugar for a sweet, yet tangy taste.
Marinated Corn Salad- Corn, red pepper and onion are marinated in a homemade dressing of lime juice, wine vinegar olive oil, and cumin. It is the perfect compliment to a summer meal.
Pizza Pasta Salad- We toss shells with a light dressing of red wine vinegar, olive oil and oregano and mix in fresh tomatoes, cheddar cheese and delicious bites of pepperoni. It’s a certain kid-pleaser.
Spaghetti Salad- This light and refreshing salad combines spaghetti in a delicious tomato vinaigrette with celery, carrots, cucumbers, red onion and green pepper.
